For Builders & New Construction
Motorized Blinds,
Spec'd Into the Build.
The Southern Utah window-covering partner for builders, developers, and designers. We work off your plans, advise on pre-wire, and install on your schedule — so blinds are never the thing holding up a closing.

New Construction
Window Coverings, Handled as a Trade
We work the way your other subs do — off plans, on a schedule, with one point of contact. Here's what we're typically spec'd into across Washington County.
Spec Homes
One trip, one price sheet, one install day. Standard packages that make the window-covering line item predictable across every spec you build.
Custom Builds
We work off your plans and the homeowner's selections — motorized or EZ Lift, 300+ fabrics — and coordinate directly with your super or designer.
Model & Parade Homes
Show-ready motorized shades on a tight pre-show deadline, including scheduled opens and closes so the home always presents at its best.
Subdivisions & Multi-Home
Repeatable takeoffs by plan type. Approve a package once and we roll it across every lot in the phase, on your close-out calendar.
Multi-Family & Rentals
Durable, uniform shades for townhomes, condos, and short-term rental builds — quantity pricing with consistent fabric and hardware across units.
Design-Center Selections
Physical fabric samples and a clear good/better/best allowance structure your buyers can choose from without slowing the schedule.

Why Builders Call Us
Six Fewer Things on Your Plate
Trade pricing, per plan
Volume pricing on motorized and EZ Lift shades, quoted by plan type so you can drop a real number into your allowance sheet instead of a placeholder.
Pre-wire guidance before rough-in
Tell us which openings are getting motorized shades and we'll tell your electrician exactly where to land power — before drywall, not after.
Measured at trim, not at closing
We field-measure once the openings are trimmed and confirm sizes against the plan, so nothing arrives short and nothing gets remade on your dime.
Install slotted into your schedule
We install late in the finish sequence and work around paint and clean. Give us the date and we hit it — including back-to-back lots.
Punch-list responsive
Local crew, local phone number. If something needs an adjustment before walkthrough, we're not waiting on a warehouse in another state.
Warranty handled with the homeowner
We register the system and support the buyer directly, plus walk them through app, remote, and voice control at handoff. One less call to your office.
How It Works
Four Touchpoints, Start to Close
- 01
Send Plans or Address
Email us the window schedule, the plan set, or just the lot address. We put together a takeoff and a per-plan price — no site visit needed to get started.
- 02
Spec & Pre-Wire
We confirm motorized vs. EZ Lift by opening, note which shades need power, and hand your electrician the locations before rough-in.
- 03
Field Measure at Trim
Once openings are trimmed we measure on site, verify against the plan, and release the order to fabrication.
- 04
Install & Buyer Walkthrough
We install on your date, calibrate every motor, and walk the buyer through app, remote, and voice control — then own the warranty from there.
Get Trade Pricing
Send us the project and we'll come back with per-plan pricing and a realistic lead time — usually within one business day. No site visit required to get a number.
- Per-plan pricing you can drop into an allowance sheet
- Pre-wire locations for your electrician
- 300+ fabrics, motorized and EZ Lift
- Local crew — St. George, Washington, Hurricane, Ivins, Santa Clara

What Southern Utah homeowners say after the install
“We added the AutoBlinds smart blinds to all 21 windows in our house and they all work with Alexa, are on daily schedules and cost less than half and came in half the time of the other 3 quotes we got!! Highly recommend!!”
“We have had Corey do multiple jobs for us. He has always done them quickly with an eye for details. We have been very pleased with all of his installations. As we compared his prices to other window covering companies, we also feel his prices are extremely fair.”
“The salesman and the installer at Auto Blinds were very courteous, patient, prompt, and professional. They were quick in replying to any inquiries and definitely kept the communication open. I am very happy with the product I purchased. Highly recommend.”
Builder FAQ
The Questions We Get on the Job Site
Not always. Motorized shades can run on a rechargeable motor, low-voltage wiring, or a solar panel, so an unwired opening is never a dead end. If you want the low-voltage route — common on tall windows and whole-home packages — tell us which openings during framing and we'll give your electrician the exact locations to land power before drywall.
